Hi guys

I'm new to the forum and to airsofting, and pretty new to WW2 reenacting, too. Just putting out some feelers with a view to contacting people in the Solihull or B'ham areas with similar interests.

I've visited Fireball in Sutton and am going there for my first skirmish in June. Would be good to hook up with some WW2 airsofters if anyone else will be there, or failing that, I'd be interested in getting in on a WW2 game.

Cheers

Dave

Hello there. I've only just got involved myself - it's great fun. There are quite a few people from the Midlands area on here. Our next official event is at the end of June, in north Wales. :)

Hi David
Thats a nifty looking avater there !!. Are you going for PzGren or Assault gun crew ?
You've got into the WWII A/S scene just at the right time, there are a lot of good quality German AEGs coming onto the market via China at the mo .
Look forward ot seeing you blitzkreig alongside us Axis soon
Welcome to the forum

Hi there peeps

Thanks a lot for the warm welcome. I've clocked the CR game in Wales and am definitely interested in finding out more. I will follow the thread as suggested.

Guy. My avatar is me, wearing a uniform based very closely on a photo of Obersturmbannfuhrer Richard Schulze taken in late '44, early '45. He was a PG officer but is wearing AG wrap and trousers in the photo, and a ski cap with an army eagle above a metal SS skull. I've recently joined GD Recon, so am in the process of putting together the bits and pieces I need for a GD EM impression - still got a way to go there! I've also, very recently, bought some splinta pattern camo which will do for both GD and airsofting. I'm currently wielding an AGM mp40 and a Maruzen p38 - can't wait to get them out of the bedroom - oo er!

Best thing about Airsoft battles, compared to re-enactment ones?...

The Brit Airborne take their hits!

Another GD - Steiner will be pleased  , he's been "the only elite Heer in the this forum" for a while now .
There's a fair contingent of Hohenstaufen after our last Arnhem event as well , and a few of us are 27th Panzers , including a Tiny and a Porta !

Nice impression BTW .

Hi Poacher

I wasn't at WA. I've only very recently become a member and couldn't make WA due to other commitments. I'm in touch with Richard and Emma at the mo, haven't really met any of the other guys as yet but am looking forward to doing so soon.

Cheers

Dave :D

I've tidied this thread up as it was getting well off Richards topic. I've stuck the tail end in "off topic" .
