Welcome, is there much airsofting in the C Islands?

Yeah. Theres been a organised site in Guernsey for about 10 years I've been playing for around 7 off those. The main site is an old WW2 German bunker complex that formed part of the mirus battery and the woodland above it. Its only just taken off in Jersey (the other island) with them having there first proper oganised game last weekend. We come over and play teams in england from time to time. A few of us here are into our WW2 kit and are realy interested in comming over to play with you lot. A couple of us are trying to orgainise to come over for the Churchills Revenge game.

Sounds good, how do you cope with taking "guns" on aircraft ?

We don't fly the airlines are a bit funny. We use the cross Channel ferries. They are ok with them as long as they are locked up in a car or if you are on foot locked up in one of their secure containers.

Aha - sound policy , having flown to the CI a few times I did wonder, although as internal flights they are a bit less security intensive.

Having tried to fly with airsoft gear up to Scotland, I can tell you it isn't worth the hassle. Some airlines refuse point blank (Ryanair) and for the others you have to pre-book it - and the cost of taking any baggage on an aircraft now is ridiculous.
