I think the MG42 especially on tripod would make a good defence for covering the minefield
that the explosive charges , schu mines etc

It is a free uniform event, wear what you like. The British section at Avellino is a fairly piratical bunch, I think the only arm of service we haven't seen so far is the Army Pay Corps.
Anyway, I'm Polish on attachment to the 1st Airborne Div units which fought in Italy. Or something. Having bought the hat I'm going to wear it.

Well I was thinking of a first outing as British as well now I've collected enough kit to make an (almost 
) passable British impression, but I'm happy to join Lutz in the Pioneers for mine laying duties if the sides need balancing up
