interuppted with the sudden feeling of a rubber knife being drawn across my throat. Whoever did that well done.

Got your mate too.

I did nothing in the first period, made silly reports to anyone who walked past and answered the telephone whilst i guarded the warehouse. Fired not one shot. It was good. Very like a real garrison posting. Then it got hotter as the day went on. More to do and more ways to get killed.
570 mile round trip that I'd do again tomorrow, no worries.

I am *so* glad players felt that I was acutley worried folk would feel there was no 'trigger time' in the first hour so where I reallywanted a sense of calm, security and to a degree aimlessness among the garrison.

Excellent day, thanks to all involved in putting it on. I thought the first hour with the roleplaying and the krypton factor building the machine was great fun. Some imaginative ideas with the props chaps, well done.

Being civvies made a nice change, especially when the bbs started flying and we were both thinking how nice it was NOT to have to put ourselves in harms way.

For my own part, the most tense bit was escaping from the allies at a slow walking pace passed a couple of brits, expecting at any moment to get rumbled, and of course my Alec Guinness moment at the end (thanks to Lardy for escorting me 90% of the way).

Anne was busy informing the brits on where the germans were and enjoyed Lars and Karl's banter in the afternoon.

Thank Webby, Evo and Nige, they did the lions share of the work on this one. Yith and I just championed the sides on the day!
