On September the 20th I'm running a private game for a stag party at Elite Action Games woodland site in Worthing.
Some of the guys attended Op Jubilee and want to theme their stag party around a WW2 scenario. They are mainly going to be playing the part of Free French and partisans and I'm currenty writing the exercise around the plans that they've given me.
It wont be historically correct or based on any actual event, so yes it could be labelled as a SISK, but it will be run along the CiA guidlines and will be heavily themed to suit the period.
I do find myself lacking in a decent German team to field, I can get half a dozen Axis players from the ranks of my regs ( I'm slowly converting them 
) but the French / Partisan numbers look to be about 20, so I'm posting this here hoping I can recruit some Axis forces to show these snail eaters what a proper battle is all about.
I'd like the stag party to have a really great time and hope it will convert some of the guys who do medieval reenactment that WW2 airsoft has something alternative to offer. This does mean that ultimately we'd like the frogs to win, but the gameplay will be such that the Axis team wont just be defending all the time, they will be out patrolling and have different objectives to achieve as well as the main game missions.
As the stag party have paid for the hire of the site and the insurance etc, all the Axis players would be required to pay is a fiver to cover the WW2 themed lunchtime meal.

So the bottom line is the offer of a days airsoft in Axis kit, in a West Sussex site, with a great bunch of guys that are keen to get into the hobby, for a fiver.

I should be able to make it Jim ,probably have to drive up that morning ,what time start ? may be able to kit out 2 or 3 others to come and get a taste of WW2 as well if you want the numbers.
Usual 10 am start fella, you should make it in a couple of hours from there, I think. You'll all be made very welcome
I'd say allow 3 hours to be sure.

That's fine mate, although I think I'll have to stop the shout out after you or the Frogs just wont turn up! I think that with the numbers we've got it will put on a really good show of strength, look really good and hopefully a lot more of these guys will stop faffing around being partisans and start to build up a loadout, wether it be proper French forces, Allied, American or Axis, either way I'm hoping this game will procure a lot of good new players. (that shoot each other in a civilised manner instead of blunt objects and scarily looking bits of oversized gardening tools )
If we forget to unpack the car from this weekends battle it's all well be armed with. Mind you plate armour and bills vs airsoft, mm
We may be few and poorly equiped but I'm sure the marqius will give you a run for your money, memories of Verdun!
Have you actually shot your plate armour with an airsoft gun yet? does it leave an annoying "hammered finish" like it does on cars? or doesnt it even touch it? I must admit I have no experience of your plate armour. I must endeavour to visit one of your events and have a look see. There's no way I'll be getting involved, although I can see how the social side, like that in our events, must be fantastic and a good 60% of the reason for attending.
Back on topic do you want me to open up the site on the Saturday and give you the chance to dance around the fire at night, or are you all going to get a good night's sleep and turn up nice and early onsite, refreshed and ready to fight to the last frog and BB?
Wouldn't even notice 'em! The ping ping noise may get a little annoying though 
As to nocturnal mayhem, well I'm intending if I can to get most down for a session first, we will fight even if we do cry from the hangover.
