It looks pretty darn good, but flying to Croatia for a 2 day game? Might be a tad excessive :|

Well we go quite regularly to Czech Republic for ww2 events and Czechs, Slovaks, Slovenians, Bosnians and Poles come to Croatia. We are going in March to event near Prague. We'll make 5 days beer fest of it. Beer will flow. It's 11-12 hours drive. Flight from London to Croatia is 2-2.5 hours depending on which airport you land.

My armory: MG42, MP40, StG44, G43, M38A, P08, P38, Mauser C96, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, Colt 1911, Webley Mark VI, Sten Mark II.

I worked in and around Praha in 2003 for 6 months and I drove my Special Effects truck back to the UK , stopped to see friends in Munchen ( and collect some of my favourite beer) stopped in Belgium for the night, was about 1000 miles I think.
If I can go to this I would like to get a van and drive. I work in Film and often have to travel with prop weaponry so will follow the regulations to take airsoft Kit .

I stayed at Losinj just before the war and loved it, there were some great statues remembering your troops during WW2 , I loved the local prochek ( not sure how to spell it) and bout a couple of bottles Home, this must have been about 1986/7

I didn't mean to sound so negative, I'm genuinely considering this!
Probably most doable in groups I would imagine

It's called Prosek in Dalmatia. It's sweet dessert wine. No relation with italian prosecco.

Well it's about 1000 miles from London to Vizinada. We also use van for our trip from Split to Prague (about 1100 kilometers). We only inform police at croatian border with Slovenia that we are carrying airsoft replicas and the rest of the trip is thru Schengen states so no borders.

My armory: MG42, MP40, StG44, G43, M38A, P08, P38, Mauser C96, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, Colt 1911, Webley Mark VI, Sten Mark II.

So it appears that date has been set. Third weekend in October. From 18th (arrival of troops) until 21st of October. But final confirmation will be next month. October means nicer weather and more daylight meaning longer play. You can expect 2 days of airsoft and 1 day of reeanactment for villagers and tourists. Details are still being decided and we'll inform you promptly.

My armory: MG42, MP40, StG44, G43, M38A, P08, P38, Mauser C96, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, Colt 1911, Webley Mark VI, Sten Mark II.

Ok so we are planning on 8 or 9 of us in 2 vehicles and will bring the Weasel and hopefully a jeep as well. We have got a rough coating per person per vehicle and Pete is coming with us too :good:

Hi mate,
One of our guys is flying out as we only have 8 or 9 going, so it’s 2 vehicles, if the other guy comes there may well be space in his 6 seater, so will give you the opportunity before anyone else.
With ferry fees and fuel for 2,400 mile return trip it’s about &225-£250 per head and it will be over 7 days (4 days travel)

It seems you are preparing quite an Expeditionary Force (new BEF in the making? :happyclap: ) for Kelly's heroes 2. Those interested in coming by plane look for flights to Pula airport. It's the closest one to Vizinada and is Ryanair friendly. Next you can check Rijeka airport and Trieste airport (this one is in Italy, but close to the border). It' about 50 minute drive from Pula to Vizinada and about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Trieste/Rijeka to Vizinada. If any of you have any kind of questions regarding KH2 you can PM me.

HI Doug,
I will probably fly. My wife would probably not let me go for that long.
Cheers
Lutz
