Phoenix sounds good Dave... Whats TP? Team Phoenix?

Get us in and we'll do opfor no probs...

On the bunker... I think give him all the support and help we can... but no way can we get down there to run it! However we do have members of this forum who are on the south coast and I'm sure they can sort it.

I pm'ed him with links and details of this forum... he has yet to reply.

Okay I've had further contact with Andy as regards the bunker stuff...

He wants a chat on the phone and I've suggested tonight.

In my post so far I've mentioned that geographically we're not in an ideal location to sort it out...

I suggested that Kermit may be better placed to do that... which is when I had an idea.

Why don't we invite Kermit into the group... kind of as our southern organiser?

Not against the idea in principal, other than the too many people thing . Plus how would others see it , I'm thinking of Webby here .
Also what's the plan for a Southern Game ? When who what etc .
Perhaps have a chat with Cracking Day , and then maybe we can discuss if we get to PU on the 25th ?

Sorry should have been clearer . Are we in effect franchising CiA to run a game in the bunker ? If so when ?

If we get Kermit in... then maybe...

Otherwise I say we don't bother.

Dates have not been mentioned. God knows when we'd fit it in!

Sorry, I've not answered sooner - this is a tricky one.

Yes, it's a fair distance away. Yes, we could invite Kermit in.

But why not see what Cracking Day proposes in his telcon first before exploring further?

If the chaps down south sort something there is no reason to get involved directly other than support it through our web site and forum - and WE get to enjoy the day.

I'm very much in favour of having Kermit along, even if its only in the 'rep for the south'

I know it makes a lot of organisers but hes very committed and is singing form the same hymn sheet as us on nearly all things.

I agree , he would most likely be an asset , as well as being another German  . Also agree with CW, see how the chat with CD goes and take it from there. Need to get Steve's views as well .

Steve seemed fine with it on the other thread IIRC

Yep!

To be honest, I'm never going to take extreme exception to anything, apart from the thing I mentioned before about certain attendees.

I don't see myself as being able to take on as committed a role to the organisation in the near future so another bod on board would be fine.

Not too sure I can make the 25th, but it's in my diary just in case.

BTW I've deleted that thread, no need to leave it there if we're inviting more members in . Nuff said .

Ah go on, get yers ass to PU !

OK, you chaps are welcome on the 25th at the Urban site. Do your stuff then join in when you can.

Team Phoenix will be in DPM, think the Yoof Team is too. Phoenix members will probably in usual random stuff. You can wear what you want!

I won't join in your deliberations as my duties are elsewhere on the day but I'll catch up with you when you are done.

I didn't say it was free, just that I'd walk out if you WERE charged, like Phoenix would care!

Na, should be OK.
