I thought I'd mention this in private since Gucci hasn't seen fit to announce it to the world yet...
I had a chat with him last night as he's missed the last two games at F&O. Last weekend he was away in Spain on holiday. This weekend he was recovering from an illness... however that illness was by-the-by really...
You see he's lost the license/contract for the F&O site. This means he just can't use it anymore. This is a crying shame as it was a great little site.
He's going to look for a new site before he heads up to live in Scotland in August, but since he's spent the last 2 years looking for sites to no positive result he doesn't really expect anything to come up.
Okay... on other news... He will be attending the Arnhem game, but he'll probably be coming from Manchester rather than Nottingham as a friend has bought him tickets for a gig there on the Saturday night. He has hotel Room booked etc.. This means that he won't personally be able to bring his transit up to PU on the Sunday morning. However he's going to see if he can get someone else to do it for him! This of course may effect the glider landings plan... so we just need to be prepared...
Poor Gucci - let's hope we can give him a cracking day on Sunday.

Oh man, I feel sorry for the bloke. Similar happened to me when running FFR, but at least we managed to get another site.
As Chomers says, lets give him a cracking day on Sunday...

Thats a total shame, it was one of the friendliest sites up North to play at , even if it was a bit small at times.
Any idea how comes the FC have dropped it ?
Also be aware my Landy is unlikley to make an appearance, no MOT or TAX and I haven't had time to sort it out for the test over the past few weeks .
Landy = d'oh!
On FC... they've been getting awkward recently anyway... I reckon its the doggers, not the airsofters, that are the problem really, but as the guy with the contract, gucci gets the blame!
To be honest even thought we've airsofted in that site for 2 years on every saturday it hardly shows much wear and tear.
In his words "they're a load of tossers"... ![]()
Transport: I seem to remember G has been driving around the site in a white transit recently. Shall I drop him a PM and ask if we can use it for landings (and make sure he empties it LOL). OK, it's not what we wanted but just in case we end up without Gucci's transit and Oddball can't come it his jeep for some reason. Contingency, as it were.

If all else fails... we walk..!
Heh... I've even considered using my Zafira... lol!
After all there will be no shooting going on.
OK, no white transit.

If you guys have not noticed F&O now have a new site:
http://www.airsoftcommunity.co.uk/forum ... 09686.html
From what I understand its not far from the old site and involves an old quarry and some rhodies...
First event is on the 7th July, but we'll be down in Portsmouth then.
Ah, good news - hope Gucci has his heart in it or do you think Justin will be taking over?

Good news indeed , I had thought he'd throw the towel in with his move and all .
Good to hear he's sorted again. Nice bunch of guys at F&O.

I'm sure Justin will be taking the lead from now on...
