Okey dokey - and this is off the record, cos I trust you guys. I'm sick and fucking tired of the BS 90% American "wannabe" articles in Ai (I don't write those ones, fuck all to do with me). I don't like em, and i'm pretty damn sure that the readers are getting bored of them. So, i'm gonna have to do some work and subvert them towards a more worthy cause. 
Basically, I want to do WW2 "wannabes". Let the punters know there's more to Airsoft than MOLLE gear and MICH helmets. It would make a nice recruiting tool for CiA events as well (nothing like putting "the best resource for more information on XYZ is website ABC" on an article to get people to do some more research on a subject)
The question i'm stuck with is this. What loadouts should be written up?
Off the top of my head (yes, a distinctly German list)
Fallschirmjager
Waffen SS (gotta be done, but, not *easy* to write up)
Heer
Any of the Allied people care to add to the list? - my thought patterns dont turn to that side of things 
So, what does CiA get out of this then? Several things:
1: Raises the profile of WW2 Airsoft
2: Gives me an "in" with SOF to try and get a discount system in place for ww2airsoft.org members (the mag has a good working relationship with SOF - and a lot of forum members seem to shop there)
3: Gives me something INTERESTING to write (trust me, AEG reviews get bloody boring after doing 50 odd of the buggers)
Anyway, your thoughts, gentlemen?

Huzzah! They have done 'nam a bit and WW2 US 101st recently IIRC. They always look straight out of the package though, nothing 'gritty'.
So yes, superb, lots more WW2 would be fab! You won't be short of models 
I had no idea there was going to be an airsoft arena at Beltring - another reason to book in I suppose (just dug my paperwork out - 18th-22nd July ain't far off!).

I'd make sure we base it around accesable AEGs
I thikn the idea of sending 400 quid on a custome will put most peopel off.
With that in mind we centre stuff around the k98, thompson and mp40
So for allied (although it should i many case sbe a 1928...) i'd say

Some good ideas there. Show the 'softers there's more to Yank WW2 kit than the Hundred-and-worst. Commando is a good idea as well, Thompson fits perfectly.
With regards to guns in the articles, I'm thinking as broad a selection as possible - from the cheapest to "kit to aspire to".

Actually I think I need to correct myself. The camo that Flibble's wearing in that pic is the ETO camo used in the first few weeks of Normandy before being chucked out because it looked too German and caused a lot of blue-on-blue.
In that pics he's representing 2nd Armoured.
I'm unsure what the difference is between that and the PTO stuff.
If you're talking kit to aspire to, Class A's might be a nice idea too. I could get people into swing dance that way too.
As Gadge said Chindit is nice and cheap as well... 
Its also excellent for airsofting in the summer!
Don't forget most of the British loadouts will get to use people's precious 1911A1s
Line infantry should also be in there... can do that with a thompson.
I see no reason why warren's guns should be excluded here. You've already done a review of the enfield, so why not some kit to go with it!
Basically you have a ton of stuff to go at!
