I was thinking about this the other day...

Its really good were getting 16 year olds int wwii airsoft.

They might need some guidance but its so cool that these lads are not 'playstation' generation and want to learn about and do wwii.

We've seen today that Lewis has loads of potential to be a really good player

in the genre and has a good spirit.

lets hope his mates are the same

Having heard the full account today of Dannys brush with the law it was stil a moronic thing to do but had some fairly mitigating circumstances and sounded *much* worse on the forums post than it actually was.

Can we put up some sort of policy that name changes can be asked for after one month of forum mebership and at least ten posts to make sure we're not wasting our time.

Explain that many register and rarely post.

A months waiting may take the 'spur of the moment' impulse decisions off the younger guys.

Can do, but it's not that it's a waste of time (2 sec!) - it's that there were objections to changing names full stop previously, because of confusion as to who is who. Surely after several posts the potential confusion becomes greater? Best to get it out of the way sooner rather than later if we are tolerating it at all?

It's not a big issue, I would have done it without asking had there not been grumblings before.

No probs with that, but let's do it quietly and tell him that it's a one-off.

personally don't mind as`long as`they realise it's a one time choice . Doktor asked me to changed to Julius Heide as he's keen to stick with the hobby .

I kept Danny waiting and asked twice if he was absolutely sure of the once only change before doing the deed earlier this morning.

And before Lewis asks to change his name again can we agree to say no? Looks like he is planning several 'loadouts' and I'm guessing he is going to be as fickle as the Phoenix youngsters :(

For what its worth,

I'd say no to him now and i like the lad lots since the traiinig day

Tell him he can play as sven but the name stays the same.

If he wants he can change it back to 'Lewis' but no more character names.

Its just getting silly TBH

100 agree, yuo can change once for a good reason , other than that you stay as you are IMHO - have posted to the effect off.
