I've noticed a few from here pop up on another forum i've been a member of for a fair while (Panzergrenadier.net) - an Axis re-enactment forum.
And its given me an idea. ..
What about a weekend event. Two day where the Re-enactors show us what they do, and where we show them what we do. Whats the benefit for both sides? well, for us it will dispel (well, maybe) some of the BS about Airsoft, and from the re-enactment side, our guys could pick up some tips. Emphasis would certainly have to be on the "fun" aspect of it, but i can think of a few who might go for it. We also have access to sites that most re-enactors can only dream about....
So guys, "good idea", "bad idea" or just plain old "WTF is Jay on about?"

Or perhaps a half and half day is orgniased ona small scale
in the morning the re-enactors get us to do a scripted blank fire battle, in the evning we lend em guns and go softing or vice versa
thats way everyones volved rather than being a spectator

Sounds a good idea, but not sure how that would work in practice .... 
Guys "good ideas" usually centre around Billie Piper and a hot tub full of real ale .
Its a good idea... I'd like to see it happen... 
Not sure how we'll make it happen though!
Yeah, like it. Can't hurt can it? I could contact Ian Agg at 2nd Armored to see if any of his guys would be interested. We could even try and get Rick (Flibble) over!
