cheers CW...

Yeah we could do with a bit more promotion for this one.

I think one big problem we've found is a misunderstanding amongst the German players that SS camo is banned.

That's not what we've said... we said it was "not preferred"

As soon as I told several players at the Training day this, I got several deposits...

Perhaps if German players could spread the word... that'd be nice... :)

Aye... its 'glad to be grey' if you've got it :)

If not anything else is ok.

Also, we do wonder if some players think the germans are just effectively going to be "crew" and not have much of a game... This is bollocks... The scenario will be designed so that both sides have fun!

I think you have hits both points:

Feldgrau only
PBI organised game, therefore a Brit game biased game with Germans as OPFOR

I know they are not valid points, but that may just be the public perception.

So, small PR campaign required reiterating the game - make a new locked thread in the Varsity section as the game outline is just the first post on a thread that is now four pages long full of irrelevance and flim-flam.

But how to get the germans to take a look?

And what to say without seeming whiney... lol

Get posting in the section - looks like nothing is happening.

Re-post your first post as a locked topic, making clear the kit requirements.

No need to tell people they have got it wrong, just re-iterate the initial statement and make sure it's clear.

And as Guy says, sort out a German commander and let him/her do the work for you...

That would be my thought, get a bit of banter going amongst the Germans get them excited at kicking some British butt !
Not sure Helga is the best choice IMHO, you want someone who can think as an organiser as well as a player, Che or Fandanglos are both good in my experience.

No worries I'll knock up some new stuff today.

Helga hasnt replied che or fandanglos is a good choice.

Major will be overall 'map commander' but we need a field commander.

Che and Carl would be good choices in the field but poor as forum motivators, for which Helga would be a better choice. Would a tripartite system be workable?

Hi guys

Apologies, but I definitely won't be able to make this now.

Hope you have a good one and everything runs to plan.

Cheers
