I'm up for staying the night before, mate. And having a wee drink/watching a film, whatever.

Just back from site! Yes, you will be sleeping in the tunnels - watch out for Kermits farting and Yith's snoring (although I do know Oldsweat's snoring is in a different league altogether!)

The obvious choice is 'the bunker'

Word of caution - we are 100' underground. The temp is low and somewhat variable due to the airflow - humidity is high which can lead to fogging and condensation. I'm not sure I would bring an expensive dig. projector, though the idea is superb. Maybe make a judgement on whether to install once on site and see what the conditions are on the evening?

Having been down at UCAP today with Yith, C-W and Ed, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the site will be all your Airsofting dreams come true.

You don't get more WW2 than fighting in a real WW2 tunnel system!

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

Hi Guys

Highly unlikely I'll be able to make it to 'camp' down there on the Saturday night. What time is it all kicking off on the Sunday morning? :D

We used a projector to watch BHD at TB2, there is 240 in the safe zone and the main map room.

If you're staying over night, there is hot water and a proper toilet up the top of the staires for you to use. By october we might have water down stairs too.

At least I never deny it , in fact I warned you all and set my tent up away from everyone else at CR so you had a chance at sleep .

Re war films, sounds a good plan . I have Saints and Soldiers, Patton , BoTB on DVD if any of them take your fancy .

I dont deny it sounds like a plan, but is it a good idea, 50 ww2 Nuts watching a film can only be followed by shouts of That is wrong etc. Will this be a "Wet" event saturday PM?

from experience yesterday I'd say a helmet is VERY much recommended...

If you're over 5'11 then I would say its a necessity... below that.... I'd still recommend it.

There are no steps at all from the car park to the safe zone and in to the game zone itself and just 3 that I found actually in the game zone. (This is good news for Major!)

However there are 168 steps from the game zone to the loos upstairs!

We could look at doing a small "bar" and show a period moral film in black and white?

Or a nice full bit of Bridge too Far?
