Anyone fancy CO post for German units?

No one seems to want this role, so I'll have a go at it. I was going to sign on as allied, but have enough to put together a german impression. I'll pm to you and you can give me details.
I could even come down before the the event if necessary. I'll sign on at the weekend.
Andy

Hi Andy cheers for volunteering for CO. I will put you in a unit, All the COs will have written instructions for the game play, these will be given out on the day with maps, so there is no need to come over the night before unless you want to, just let me know, Thanks for the offer, and support. :good:

At the moment I only have an m36 tunic.
For panzergrenadiers, should I get a bevo shoulder eagle ? And will plain black collar tabs be ok ?

Hi Steve,
I discuss with my team that we will go as a heavy weapons team with MG42 (will bring my tripod) and mortar supporting the FJs.
If you will supply mortar, I wont have to bring mine.
We have mortar experience as the team already operated the mortar at the TIM game.

PS: I will buy 10 rounds but forgot to make contact with site yet.
Cheers
Lutz

As most of you know I like to make some noise at a game.
It's a bit one sided with all the things I've got so I've put some bits together for the Germans to set up.
There is some booby-trappes & some electronic detonators for some one in a German unit to use (don't worry everything is safe to play with) & I'll show someone how to set everything up.
So is there any takers for my offer?
See ya
Peter

OK buddy I'll see you Saturday morning & show you what to do & everything is easy to set up & safe.
You will just need to have a knife in your pocket to cut the tripwire to the right lenth.
Everything's set up with electronic maroons so they will all work if it rains as there's no fuse to get damp so you should be able to set something up anywhere on the site just have to remember to retrieve the receivers after they've been used.
See ya
Peter.
