We need more Russians folks.
We've run games with good numbers of Russians before and there are people with kit they can lend out so I'm not sure why there's the current lack of bookings.
This will be an awesome event on a par with Jedburgh last year. There are currently two options for the Russian: tough-as-nuts scouts who will be acting undercover and moving in a small group and regular troops who, whilst not having it easy, will have a more permanent base to operate from.
Don't rule out booking because you're put off by the perceived toughness of the event, there will be something for everyone.*
The Ceri forest site is absolutely awesome and covers about 2000 acres.**
Like Old 'Un said, don't delay on booking as we need to confirm numbers to put together our full game plan.
*With the exception of open-day blatfest types.
**And there may even be an impromptu rave that we can all go to if it all gets too much!

im really into the russain theme at the moment, but this clashes with my family holiday, i was well fooked off when the date was anounced.
The site is brilliant, and the time of year, the weather should be lovley.
also gunmans minsk game is in july, so a good month for russians, im just hacked off i cant go to either of them

I'll be booking in as a russian when I get paid at the end of the month, had a lot of outgoing over the last couple of months, ( car tax the end of this month ), so I couldn't afford to pay to far in advance.
My mate Gary, who was at the Horn game is looking to book up as regular russian. He just needs to confirm his hol's from work! So looks like things will start to pick up! 
Only four Russians booked so far ......and its only 5 weeks to go . This is not an event as of today .
If you have Russian kit, and you want to use it suggest book now before this event gets scrubbed.
To be honest it's final go / no go for 2nd week June , and for those hanging onto a Stalingrad game in October, if ask yourself there are not enought people wanting to do Russian to fill 15..... why would we bother trying to put on something like Stalingrad when you'd want a goodly number.
So please , book soon ish or face disappointment . Especially if you've got a PPSH , bolt action, Moisin ....it's there to be used not gather dust ! if you haven't got full Russian kit then a period Partisan look will be fine .
i think its maybe unlucky timing guy, josh has 19 russians booked in on the game the week after. That game is short of germans 
i could do german or russain at EACH event, if only i wasnt on bloody holiday

Not sure about bad timing Tony, this game has been confirmed since February and announced before that! It would indeed be a kick in the dick if it were to get canned, as there is incredible enthusiasm among those who ARE booked and, the site is amazing and our gameplan is up to the usual CiA "being there" standard.

I totally agree with Pete and I for one will be very pi@*&d off if this game is cancelled as I have aready booked leave for what I can only say is CIA's main event of the year.

Sorry guys, I really want to do a Russian game, but not a 24 hour game out in the woods. Make it a single day event that won't knacker me for several days afterwards and I'll re-consider it.
Personally I would love to do this. It sounds fantastic and I had even gone so far as buying the winter scout suit for dyeing but I now find that I am on cricket tour in Menorca.
I just wanted to emphasise that it is only my personal circumstances that weekend that are preventing me from coming. The location and event look great.

Thats the impression I got Stu; you can do as much or as little as you want. Ie- there will be vehicles and out of game camps for those who want to take it easy and behind the lines missions and night ops for those who don't.
Family commitments is what is stopping me from coming also I'm afraid
