Excuse my ignorance, but to the CA33 lo-cap mags fit and look authentic?

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

I think the CA33 Mag's in standard size are not long enough to look like the 44's, but the original real steel extended mags are similar.

Hi Steiner - the CA33 locaps are half the lenght of the MP44 ones and look stunted .

unless we used the mp40 locaps as inserts ? into the long mags,
they have to be the cheepest locaps about,

or even a thompson hi-cap inside a long mag, that way youd not have to brake fingers winging up into the mag sheel,

I'd be glad to see a better execution of it . The lash up I did in a rush for BotB , works but isn't always reliable , however that could be the base mag. Persoanlly don't like hi caps, a mid cap solutuion would be preferable to me .

what i might end up doing is getting a mp44 mag and casting in resin with the mp40 lo-cap inside,

or the ak74 150 mid-caps, good idear heffalump51

sounds great either way, but because of cost.... a 900 rnd hi cap means that i only have to get one to last me a whole day. the ak midcap idea sounds good, i dont reckon it would be too difficult to make a trigger housing section you know...... it wouldnt be exact but it would be very close....

i,m doing the first run of the mp44 kits over the next two weeks,

so if your still interested then let me know,
i have limited numbers of the frount sight and back sights untill i get the next big batch back from the casters, so i can only do 5 atm,

this will allso include the frount sights with out the blade protector, this woult be a plroblem as from most combat pics they arnt even on, and even some examples from book's

thanks

Had a PM from Warren last week, I think he's still waiting for a few parts to make up the foresite protector otherwise, I think he'll knock one up for you now if you don't mind that piece missing, I'll just wait til' he's ready myself. Got to say the finished product looks the part. My G33 is on its way from Gunner airsoft in HK and I've ordered the butt stock and wooden grips from America, all I've got to do after that is try and knock up one of Olssweat's magazines.

Just been playing with an AK 74 hicap mag internals, should be able to fit it inside the G33 40 rnd mag, I'll post some photos if it works, just need Warren's front end now and I'm sorted
