St. Lo - How was it for you?

I'll save my fuller comments until I've got a bit more energy but, suffice to say for now, I personally had a brilliant day! The site was incredibly lush, everyones' kit was fantastic, the weather was good and the standard of play and sportsmanship was very high from everyone. I was very uncomfortable at the prospect of playing a "yank" but my concerns were soon laid to rest after some good teamwork, particularly before lunch. The Germans got their act together after lunch (and once the hangovers had worn off!) and gave us a good kicking, making the days' play very balanced. I hope you all had a good time, your feedback, comments and suggestions are, as ever, most welcome. Now, I'm off for a lie down!
