With the British GrandPrix on at Silverstone this weekend, the A43 is closed to through traffic from 5am to 9pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. so if like me you would normally go via the A34-M40-A43-M1 you will need to find a different route.
There are diversions in place but if possible I'd avoid the area completely!

M40-M42-M6-M69 is a good route if you're coming up the A34.
Alternatively M40 to J15 then A46 North which turns into the M69 at M6 J2.
Or M40 to J11 then A423 North which joins the A46 which turns into the M69 at M6 J2.
Don't bother with any of the other rural roads in Warwickshire as they're clogged with trucks and tractors most of the time.
