[Sticky] Event postponed

We ran a training day at this very site Gav', quite recently. I don't think there's much call for training events any more, most people just seem to want to shoot at each other in WW2 kit at games these days.

I absolutely would be up for training or even just weekend camping with some target practice.

We'd still have to find a site at short notice, and I've already processed all of the refunds etc.

I don't think this is a goer from our point of view guys, but if you can find a site yourselves then there's a possibility others would come too. I've heard it's easy to bribe Pete into providing training for a create of beer and a couple of bottles of whisky!

No, I didn't mean running this very event with a change formula. I was just replying to Heide's post about people's reluctance to attend training events

Thanks Josh, we did think about it, but we need a site that is heavily wooded on the majority of it so sneakiness can happen. We'd also planned around the site extensively and we don't have the time to be able to do more site visits and replan everything.

We're talking to Craig about...something...which may well require your input.

Well, while it's a shame you have to re-plan I can't honestly say I'm sorry; I really wanted to come to this as it sounded like an excellent event and the whole Island Farm story is sort of ocal history for me, but I was probably going to be unable to attend. Now I will be signing on as HG as soon as booking reopens.

Echoing the above of sorry you been messed about but not sorry as i wasn't able to come because of the wife's due date being around event time but now cool event in my birthday month so win,win!!

OK Wladek, keep thinking and if it looks like at worst crash a normal airsoft day in proper kit, confirm we hold the date as I am cabin fevered after so long. I am sure we can arrange a crate of beer for Pete and if we can have a fire - all good!
