Kameraden, as far as i know the 278. Infantrie Division was defending the area.
Therefore I wonder who would join to create a squad of Heer Infantrie.
White shoulder boards and general infantrie load out.
2 Schuetzen Gruppen and one MG gruppe.

I will start a Squad Type thread when people get booked on as I can edit it quite easily with my admin rights
People just need to think about what types of unit were present and let me know what they want to portray.

Yes, good idea. Happy to have 2-3 in the squad. Could do some kind of buddy concept to integrate them.

As the 278. Infantrie stab i will have the pennant (as seen on my profile picture) on the morning as an assembly point.
We will have a simple infantrie loadout e.g. No a-frames. As this is a beginner game, we still want to look impressive but dont want to scare people from equipment overload. i would suggest the following equipment (if available) besides heer uniform with white shoulder boards, belt, boots or shoes with gaitors and helmet:
- y- straps
- bread bag
- ammunition pouches
- gas canister
Hope this is acceptable.
Unfortunately not many have signed up yet but i hope we can fill the ranks in the next weeks. If we can get 10 in our squad, I would like to create 3 groups. Hence i would need 2 subgroup leaders. Any volunteers?
If we get a fair amount of new WWII players, each group would have one assigned.
