So I bought the Lanchester that was for sale and will bring it to this game as an MP34. I figure if everyone else in my squad is brining a boltie then a little bit of full auto fire would help when things get close. Plus I think it looks cool

Anyway I found a good picture of a Special Naval Landing Force trooper with one so it's historically plausible.-- attachment is not available --

Ralph

Holding that SMG and combined with the sword/katana/whatever the name of the blade is, that fella is looking pretty damn badass!

Now I'm looking into making a little kit that can convert the Lanchester to a type 100. Fun fun fun.

I was planning on bringing my MP28 as a type 100, but looking at your photo I think I now need to figure out how to attach a Samurai sword to the front of it

German

Russian

British

Japanese

Well my Hiki order arrived. These Japanese knew how to make a comfortable uniform! Just waiting on my water bottle.

Got my Hokobokuro written up ready for a gallant Banzai attack!-- attachment is not available --

It's a medium Japanese flag off eBay, wrote the calligraphy on with a sharpie. Copied one of the pictures of a Hokobokuro from the Imperial War Museum collections.

My Hiki order turned up today!

Ditto! Just finished sewing on the rank insignia on. Seems like real nice stuff for the price. :)

I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.

The last thing I heard from hiki is that the order was being processed so was surprised that it came.

Nope, as is the norm for Hiki the parcel just appeared unannounced like a mysterious Spanish gentleman. Nice kit for the price, lovely soft cotton :) , going back to wools after this lot and the Russian kit is going to be a nasty shock :giggle:
