As some of you maybe aware it is nearing our third birthday this December. As we are not having a game we have arranged with the magnificent help of Dave Barrett and Che to arrange a charity party near Nottingham .

So, on Saturday December the 5th we will be putting on the following :-

Village hall decked out in period goodies, with free food, some beer, the 1940s DJ from the Victory Show, and a Swing Band. Starts at 7 goes on till late, although expecting people from 5-6 onwards at the field.
All forces are welcome in or out of kit, though no guns please. Partners are also welcome, modern dress is fine.
You don't have to be a CiA member, this is an open invitation to all the forum.
Camping is available 2 minutes from the hall, although whether you want to sleep in your car, or use modern tents is entirely up to you .
Nottingham is only a short taxi ride away so you could hotel it if you're feeling posh.

Its being held at Barton in Farbis just five minutes off the M1 J24 [link]http://www.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&q=Barton+in+Fabis,+Nottingham,+United+Kingdom&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=23.173984,61.040039&ie=UTF8&cd=1&geocode=FaUHJwMdrVDt_w&split=0&hq=&hnear=Barton+in+Fabis,+Nottingham,+United+Kingdom&ll=52.881148,-1.256218&spn=0.09199,0.238438&t=h&z=13[/link]

Cost is only £20 and all proceeds are going to the Blue Cross , which is small fluffy animal rescue charity close to my heart .

I'll be at the evening do at Alsos to sell tickets, or you can arrange to Paypal me at Panzerwomble@aol.com

It'll be good to catch up on what we have all been doing this year, and er ..... watch people get pissed again!

Any Qs, call my number below

 I have some photos somewhere from the early 80's, of a narrowboat dressed up to look like a submarine, I'll have to see if I can find them. Mind you, it may give some people ideas!

Hang on... isn't that the same night as the event being run by PD? On this very same forum? viewforum.php?f=121

Since it's touch and go as to whether I can even get to that as it's my Dad's birthday that same day and my Mum is whingeing about me spending time with them, I'm not sure what the hell I'll be doing.

If I can't make it, then please enjoy the evening for me!
