[Sticky] CiA 3rd Birthday Party all forces welcome Saturday 5th Dec

As some of you maybe aware it is nearing our third birthday this December. As we are not having a game we have arranged with the magnificent help of Dave Barrett and Che to arrange a charity party near Nottingham . So, on Saturday December the 5th we will be putting on the following :- Village hall decked out in period goodies, with free food, some beer, the 1940s DJ from the Victory Show, and a Swing Band. Starts at 7 goes on till late, although expecting people from 5-6 onwards at the field. All forces are welcome in or out of kit, though no guns please. Partners are also welcome, modern dress is fine. You don't have to be a CiA member, this is an open invitation to all the forum. Camping is available 2 minutes from the hall, although whether you want to sleep in your car, or use modern tents is entirely up to you . Nottingham is only a short taxi ride away so you could hotel it if you're feeling posh. I've never seen tables dancing before, this will be a new experience. Is it anything to do with musical chairs? Or runny stools?

Runny stools is that a side affect of bromide poisoning :rofl:

After reading the symtoms of bromide poisoning i think many cia mebers maybe suffering from it .

Psychiatric symptoms may include, in the earlier stages, disinhibition, self-neglect, fatigue, sluggishness, impairment of memory and concentration, irritability or emotional instability, and depression. Symptoms of more advanced disease may include confusion but occasionally schizophrenic-like psychotic behavior or hallucinations in clear consciousness. Behavior may become violent, especially at night. There may be severe auditory or visual hallucinations, or both. There may be clouding of consciousness, including stupor and coma (Horowitz, 1997; Fried and Malek-Ahmadi, 1975; Wacks, Oster, et al., 1990; Carney, 1973).

Yarrrgh!!

Finally dug myself out of the hole work put me in to post something.

Might be able to attend, not sure at this point - it'll be down to what happens on Thursday I'm afraid. Defo do want to go, but if things go well on Thurs then I prolly won't be able to (how's that for reverse logic!)
