CIA usually operate a 300 rnd limit per life! So, u can reload each time u regen'!

Does anyone operate 600 for the entire event??

600 rounds over 9 hours would be quite extreme.

Hey, I just wanted to clear it up. I did not ask if it was 600 rnd for the whole day ! I was asking whether its 600 or 300 per life. As it was 600 per life at the Anarchy game . It might help us guys that are new to CIA games if it stated on the booking thread to avoid all confusion.

would be nice to know inadvance as some of us need to lend guns mags webbing etc out to others so 300-400 i ok dont need any extra mags , guessing pistol ammo counts as well :)

This is quite true
Volturno is 600 a life at the moment unless anyone tells you differently .

Of which I used 40 in the entire day.

Any thoughts about 200 per life for Volturno? Worked v. well at Il Gigio.

Cheers

Really?? Which one? Jedburgh?

TBH, I'm rarely part of the action on a game day, so it's more a case of saying what I do, rather than actually doing to the do.

Hauptmann Horn (for the FJ), but as I recall the only ammo you used was shooting your own side :)

Cheers

Ah, that'll be why I don't remember that bit. I wasn't briefing anyone, I was too busy getting in character hiding in the woods... :P :ghey:

Something I'd just like to add for those that haven't been to a CiA event. Whilst we do alter with ammo limits from time to time, the way our events run is more about a clear command and control meaning that ammo limits become a bit obsolete.

I'm sure many will testify that, whilst we may have run a 600 per life event, they rarely had the opportunity to use all of those rounds at once. I think the final defence at Schaulen might be the first time in ages where people have genuinely run out of ammo.

Without wishing to sound patronising, we've been doing this for quite a while now and we know what works and what doesn't and what style of gameplay suits what site.

Ok folks. For those concerned about it. The official ammo limits for this event will be 600 rounds for regular weapons, 2000 for fully deployed (prone or on a solid object) support weapons.

That's per 'life'. I.e. You can only resupply your ammo when you regen.
