OK had a chat with Shaun Philips from SYA earlier this evening, the TD is still on for the 5th, all he wants before officially confirming is for us to carry out a recce and approve of what they can offer, as we'll have to organise ourselves around a gaming day on their site, should be able to pick up bookings again on sat' after the recce.

Hi chaps

Was looking forward to this TD - like Heide, I thought it was going to be towards the end of the month - sadly, can't make it - I'll be in Corfu - :D

Chris, only pyros bought on the site can be used there, according to the website.

Oh Panzerwaafenfruit cake, my favorite. The training day mate, forget the girls, they can enjor each otheres company, or bring em along, that way the victoriouse allies can enjoy their company.

I'm unable to take part in the training, but if I can help at all just let me know. 9 1/2 years in the army, and five in the SBG I should be able to help a bit.

Going to make an announcement shortly, as we finalise details for the next TD, unfortunately we can't get an urban site just yet, we'll have to wait out on that one for the moment, and perhaps do it later in the year. The date is now set for the 19th August, we hope to cover "O" groups, or quick battle orders(QBO's) for officer and NCO types, sniping for both sides with Sgt Heide, patrols, ambush and section attacks on prepared positions, we'll be allowed to dig some shell scrapes on site, and Herr Major Keller should be organising a couple of spectacular simulated mortar attacks. We'll hopefully post the site details/timings ect tomorrow and open up again for expressions of interest.

Yeah, I'll also have to drop out, could've done the earlier dates but am away for the re-arranged one. (I'm not complaining - obviously no one date was going to be good for everyone :) ).

Sorry, I have a re-enactment event on the 19th

Its at RAF Upwood, the same place that Urban Assault uses...

Its a shame we have a conflict here as I thought I might be nice for a few of us to meet up at that event... oh well.
