Am really sorry I cant make it - MG crew would have been sweet.

Damn that'll mean we have 3 MG-42's - wow, that will be cool for section attacks, CP defence etc.

Thanks for the PM Herr Porta, that gives us the edge over the allies, with you as MG team NCO, Phil as assistant gunner and Frontschwein gunner, we should be able to hose them down from the flanks, cos this thing has got some range on it.

when not deployed with honenstaufen, the plan is for me and paul to be dismounted panzer crew with a mg 42

With all this firepower coming inot the German ranks , we'll be lucky if any Allies turn up for the next game . let alone the training day

We're going to establish "Camp Steiner" for camping on Saturday evening, so bring your zelts, and pup tents. Just wondering, who's up for a sing song in "Camp Steiner" Saturday night with one or two quite beers, trying to find out where I can get the songs from "Cross of Iron", as they're easy to sing along to!

Can i ask whos idea it was to do Hohenstaufen why that division?

A few people had already chosen that division already for whatever reasons , and more did it because it fought at Arnhem ( for our game in April)
It's seems ot have stuck as the division of choice since then , although their are LSSAH people as well .

Possibly due in part to some of Spearhead Militaria's tunics coming with free Hohenstaufen cuff titles? Also, they are one of the few units not implicated in war crimes.
