Possibly due in part to some of Spearhead Militaria's tunics coming with free Hohenstaufen cuff titles? ;) Also, they are one of the few units not implicated in war crimes.

I ditched the spearhead cufftitle and bought a better quality one from Nicholas Morigi

A few people had already chosen that division already for whatever reasons , and more did it because it fought at Arnhem ( for our game in April)
It's seems to have stuck as the division of choice since then , although their are LSSAH people as well .

Thanks for the unit plug Guy

I'm surprised LSSAH is not more popular, 9th are good but came inot the war much later . CW tried Das Reich for a while , however Hohenstaufen still seems ot rule .

Here’s a brief heads-up on what’s happening and we hope to achieve with the upcoming training day on the 19th August.

1) You can arrive Saturday evening on the 18th and camp on site; we will be establishing “camp Steinerâ€Â

Gonna be great! Dont forget the people who are stopping over on saturday night need to park their cars as close the the edge of the car park as possible, leaving as little gap as possible, as the car park is real small and there are quite a few people going.
