OK fellas, theres not much more to add all the directions have been posted earlier, as far as timings are conserned, we'll be looking at a 10 am start, you can arrive anytime from 8.30 as Heide will be on site from that time on. The details are as previous posts, the day will be geared up to us being able to carry out a patrol and an ambush, using stealth and tactics that you'll learn during the course of the day, we'll also have a bit of a skirmish for fun and we'll be taking some photos throughout the day. Hope to see everyone there at 9am, lets have a good one. Don't forget your eye protection, charge your bateries and bring plenty of ammo; plus a few pieces of A4 sized cardboard cutouts for your targets.

We had a saying in the army - "IF IT AIN'T RAINING, IT AIN'T TRAINING!"

Hopefullly we'll have good weather, we have the numbers, we have the kit and I'm sure it'll be a really good day. My Brother and I will be there early, so we'll set up and wait for you all to arrive. Have a safe journey and a good breakfast.

Can't wait!

Just got in and having slapped on some aftersun, I thought it might be an idea to post up some comments.

A BIG THANKS! To all who turned up today. It was great to meet you guys and put faces to names. The effort everyone went to with their kit was outstanding. I hope you all found the training useful and a good building block to base any further training on. I really enjoyed myself and can't wait to get stuck into the allies at CR. Looking forward to the photos!

Hi Guys

I second the previous post.

It was great meeting you guys and thanks especially to Pete and Chris for all the training - as well as everybody for mucking in and having a go !

Now I'm really looking forward to CR - and putting some of these tactics to use.

Here's a couple of photos for starters:

I've put the rest here:

Hope you like them.

Til the next time - take care and all the best.

Glad to hear it went well today chaps, after all the organisation. I couldn't make it, since I was skirmishing with my airsoft team down in Portsmouth, but I've done training with a couple of ex-soldiers and it is really useful. :)

Completely in agreement with everything said so far about the TD - it was really good meeting everyone and putting faces to names - hopefully it won't result in too much confusion, CW - and equally great learning some interesting stuff from Pete and Chris - a big thanks to you guys - and thanks too for everyone who shared their weapons and let us all have a go....etc - :D

It was really great to see so many people there, and everyone had made a tremendous effort with their kit - if we don't get a chance to hook up again beforehand, see you in October, and I hope CR goes well - I'm sure it will - :D

Big thanks for everyone who turned up, the kit was excellent, the numbers were great and you all performed like real soldiers in the end, F*** me I thought I was back in the army again when you pulled that snap ambush at the end, top work guys, I'll post some piccies later, just wish I'd had the time to get a snap of the Sturmbahnfuhrer giving the "ambush set" order when we were all lined up in that ditch

Excellent day Chris and Pete - hope you wern't too dissapointed by your pupils (well, this particular one anyway  ). Many thanks for putting the time and effort into it (let alone the mileage) - such dedication will surely put paid to the enemy at CR...

Good to have a chat too, there is never enough time on a CiA game day!

Piccy of Zeltbahn knitting - there was a tent there somewhere!
