Maybe just a bout of vowel voiding then ! as opposed to bowel voiding ..
and nobody wants to see that! hehe
You'll lug it all right, he'll be your CO....and me his.
haha was that an order!
I'd go for the BAR over the .30 cal. Much more practical as it can also be shouldered.
Of course, this is academic as I can't afford either!
Can you not get the .30 Cal with the bipod and shoulder stock...is it a 1919A4 or something? Since it's a custom weapon and all. Is that still a support weapon, does it have to be deployed? Or can you strap it round your waist and use it in wide arcs.

That would be a support weapon......
Of course, you could use it as a standard weapon, but you'd only be allowed to carry 600 rounds.

The aircooled tripod mouted 30 cal, (like Webbys), is the a4, if this is the one you're thinking of its an a6;
I'm fairly sure one was used in BoB.
Yep, it was in the Crossroads episode (watched it last night, so its fresh in my mind).

Yeah, you see Liebgott dishing out the beats with it when they're assaulting Foy, and on Last patrol when theyre giving covering fire. It looks very similar to a BAR bipod on it, I rekon they arent too discimilar other than the caliber of hole through it. I think its used by the .30cal crew on the crossroads episode too.
I was thinking about manufacturing a stock similar to this to attach/unattach from mine for my Airborne look.
THAT would be amazing. Should have a go at that. I imagine you can get on the ground firing quicker too with the bipod on it. Rather than plonking down with the tripod and having to set it up.

you'd be suprised dude, remember there is a belt of 200 rounds stuck in the side of it!
Then of course with just another few changes you could have something suitable for the PTO game
lots of rivit work you mean hehe

I actually meant fit a cut down garand/M14 stock and move the bi-pod
Just realised that was an airsoft one made by airsharp, he's overdone the rivets a bit, here's a picture of a real one
Is that actually an American .30cal, or is it a foreign version?
It's called a stinger, it's a field modified aircraft 30 cal only used in the Pacific, here's something I got from the US WW2 airsoft forums;
'Essentially the stinger was an ANM2 tail gun from a SBD divebomber. Initially the Marines on Guadalcanal stripped them because they weren't happy with the 1919a4s portability or rate of fire. The ANM2 only weighed 23 lbs, the same as a BREN and only 5 lbs heavier than the BAR, and had a ROF of 1350 rpm. By the time of Iwo Jima it had evolved into this.'
lol fair enough! Yeah Guadalcanal was a age long battle over an airstrip in a clearing wasnt it? The ground changed hands so many times!
That looks very cool, however you'd have to take the pistol grip off the A4 wouldn't you? I'm not sure how easy that would be as I haven't seen Webby's .30Cal up close. Apart from that an easy conversion?

My last ever newbie question...I've just received my climbing rope to add to the look. And wondering whats the best place to attach it too. I've seen it in various different places and quite liked the idea of having hanging off my musette bag. How can i attach it to the bag?
I know alot of you have it attached to to webbing.
