sure start off with what you can afford and go along from there

rigger pouches are great for grenades too. have a couple myself

my best advice is go with whats comfortable. alot of people like the full realistic kit. I prefer to travel light and rarely have more than a belt a mag bag and a rigger pouch or two. start with the basics and work up from there

Hi Welsh, the rangers wore HBT trousers, which are just flat green, so OD Trousers would look the treat!

If you get a Ranger Patch for your M41 and paint a terracotta Diamond on the back centre of your helmet thst would finish off pretty much what you have for a good looking impression! Be sure to post some pics up when you're done :D

Keep your eye out for the next issue of the AI mag, we did a photoshoot at TEHL showing seaborne forces, and my Ranger gear was on 1 of them.

Yea I get like that with films, could act them all myself... although through most old war films you would probably hear me saying "he hasnt reloaded yet" 8)

Cheers guys have been watching Saving Private Ryan again, brilliant film but my all time fav has to be "A Bridge Too Far" by a long way.

My wife says that I could turn the sound down and provide the dialogue all the way through.

Hmm, then you'll recognise this then:-- attachment is not available --

We have the DVD of Gettysburg which is an excellent film. It has the most fantastic display of facial hair ever seen - quite amazing!
I absolutely LOVE the southern american accents in it............. must stop there before I get too excited.

aarrhhh that film makes me proud to be an Armistead.

just knowing that somewhere out in the ethos of history there was an Armistead with a MIGHTY beard.
it fills me with warm fuzzy feelings inside.
