Am gutted - I have to work next weekend - well, forced into it as no one will cover.
I knew i would have to work on Saturday, but hoped i could drive up on Sunday morning.
Alas, the customer getting the upgrade wants a resource available, just in case...

This is a bit annoying, to be honest. So much for a US training day, we'll be more like OPFOR. That's not the axis' fault, of course, I just thought we had a lot more guys in US kit... 
Well I don't mind going yank if you're desperate but as I said I've only got a helmet (and a 1980s one at that), plus my m14 as US kit so I'd have to borrow from people.
At some point during the day I'd like to do a wee bit of a photoshoot for the KG SS blokes, and get some real good shots. We've got a few props coming in the form of a couple of Panzerschrecks, Panzerfausts, MG42, greandes, and the like, we need an ammo belt/100rnd link if anyone has it. Also feldgrau tunics, if you have them please bring them, as I'd like some shots with helmet covers and feldgrau uniforms, a bit like my avatar.

Won't get there til fairly late as usual, as we've got a long way to come from the far North. But the Germans and Czechs will be there early, I think there's six or seven of them, and they'll be up for a few beers and a sing song, I'll be joining Che and Carl for a few catch up beers as soon as we arrive. Uniforms are a must!
Hi, only the germans will be there, but dont expect us there for breakfast , we will arrive there arround 6-8 and wear immidiatly Uniforms and we will trink a beer and wait for the rest of you. BBQ?? We will see..... So guys, thats untill tomorow all, we go to bed now and start early in the morning......

I'm absolutely gutted that I'm under doctors' orders for a while. I'm to avoid any kind of exertion, typical, after spending loads of money on kit lately. I hope you all have a great time, both at the "social" and on sunday itself. Watch those Germans don't get their towels on all the good bunkers!

Too late, our towels are already placed on the bunkers...... we have now the best ones, next to the "enemy"
