Yup, sorry. I rebooted the server at around 4pm and MySql refused to restart.
I had just done a complete server backup this morning so I thought no problem, just restore that. Didn't work, whatever was wrong was wrong this morning.
Had to restore a historical server backup which booted fine. Then restored the 1am daily forum backup so that was CiA forum back up and running, all be it with the few posts during the day missing.
Now 4 hours later and I have got to restore every web site to current data, re-set up a new client web site and a shed load of email accounts.
What a bastard!

Still, despite the pain it's proved a couple of things - the full server back-ups restore fine and the daily forum backups are robust too. I just need to sort out off-site storage of the compressed server backups - it's 3GB of compressed data which is a bit of a PITA.
