* Thunder!! Lightning! *
On the home and Wotan pages:
"Buried deep within this area, at the juncture of the invading US and British Army’s lies an underground military research complex"
It's armies, no capital...and I-E-S.

wot u on about?
"The phrase US and British Army's" is possessive which makes the sentence sound as though the bunker is situated at the point where the un-truths of the two fighting forces meet.

You're making it up! Kermit's text is fine as far as I can see....

Yeha he is right.
Personally i dont give a stuff about typos on forums as i have to be so precise at work
(when i actually do any, i've been off on full pay for about ten weeks now...)

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Yeah, we're talking plurals here as in the armies of the US and Britain.

TEN WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, I won't mess around any more - I corrected the three postings of that text within two minutes of your post.
Serious point - if there are corrections to be made there is no point doing it five weeks after they were posted - keep up HS! I'm perfectly well aware of the correct grammar, some stuff just gets copied and pasted - others like SH 'how to' guide I had to re-write.
If there is an error made in the forum text (and it matters) go ahead and change it, no one will mind. If its on the web site, drop me a PM.
As an aside - generally speaking, all the stuff I write is crafted and takes time - I don't just bash away at the keyboard with stuff off the top of my head! And I do think typos matter - some posts look very shabby indeed esp late night ones, some of which are rather embarrassing...

wtf iz u nobbas onbowt ? innit ?
It's 17:45 and i'm on the first bottle from two crates of Stella I plan to drink this weekend. Stephen, best to check *anything* I post this weekend for SPG ![]()

Good brief - planned drinking?
Just boiled rice for me this weekend! Packed and ready to go In-Country - I'll let you know how these lot organise a weekender! (The price was right - £20 each, but no extras)
And lesson learned from Churchill's - while the forecast for Sat night looks very promising I'm not getting caught out with a leaky tent again so have bought a couple of pup tents! (CW eats his own words and yet is vilified because they are heavy and are smelly
)
I don't know most of the players but John M is coming down, pity I'm on the wrong side!

Heheh! Pup tents do stink.
To be honest I despair at some of the grammar on these forums (or rather, fora!)
I just noticed the army's (sic) thing it when reading it on the home page, so thought I'd let the grammar nazi out of his box. No offence intended.
I'm not around this weekend so grammar can go awry to its heart's content as far as I'm concerned!
The whole of this post should be served with a big dollop of
and a plethora of
Now, the weekend beckons you big bunch of gheys.

LOL, I'm not offended, I'm just a cut and paste merchant! I suppose it just shows that I didn't actually read it
but skimmed and got the jist.
SO here is a
and
for good measure.
BTW, I don't think the collective of gheys is 'bunch', I think its 'crush'?

Lol!
How about a 'felch' of gheys?

heh, Is it Jacko organising by any chance? (AKA Zebra), if so, I know him. Nice guy, does WW2 kit as well. Can be a bit of a strong character at times though...

Aye, Zebra, that's the chap. Just discovered some of the Blaggers are going so I'll know quite a few...
A 'gossip' of gheys? A 'flap'? No, you're right, 'feltch' it is.
