Just to let you know that as a response to this forum closing some of us have opend a new forum with the hope that we can retain as much of the community as possible in one place.
The new forum retains as much of the formatting of ASCUK as possible and we are attempting to move info from this site to the new one.

It would be nice if you could join us there and let the others of the WWII community know about it. I understand you have your own WWII dedicated forum but I feel that a more general discussion forum is a good window for people to get into the re-enactment side of airsoft.

---------------------Was curious to know what you thought of it. Personally I've never heard of Quinch but he was nice enough to PM me about it. I guess he has a point, having a WWII presence on a "regular" airsofting forum, but Im hesitant as I would rather have people come here than be split.

I do know quinch, yes, but not massively well...
He's a pretty good bloke from what I remember.
There will be several sons of ASCUK I suspect as various individuals try to pick it up . Some will be Betamaxes some will be VHS , only time will tell .
My own thought would be get a window in all the new forums , even if it's just a pointer . Most people playing now have found us , we just need a way of capturing new converts, although TBH word of mouth will do as well .
It will be telling ot see what the sites do, as they will need a central forum more than us .
I expect to see the Dog Company forum making some sort of announcement about it too.
The numpties who run that (most of you know my history) are as equally egotistical and Machiavellian as the ASSCOCK people so I'd fully expect them to put their feeble little personalities into the fray.
Most forum runners are egotistical and Machiavellian aren't they ? Well other than us of course........... we're nice to everyone .
