Whats the difference between WW2 .30-06 cal bullets and the modern 7.62mm NATO round?
The price of the nato rounds are about 1/2 of that of the .30cal rounds, and im looking to fill up a 200 round belt for a .30cal MG AEG I have on the way.

30-06 is a longer cartridge, if I remember correctly.
And it's 7.62mm. ![]()

Yea whats with that.... I'm sure I pressed 2! hehe!
I have ordered a big vat of the 7.62s, its only for putting the belt around my neck, I dont want to spend an absolute fortune on it! ![]()

yep 308 is the same as a NATO 7.62 while a 306 is longer.
I use 7.62 belts on my 30cals because of cost and I can get a load of dead ones free now and then.
What is this are people getting into Browning 1919s?

Free speech is expensive these days!
