I saw the tank last night and got in it. I'm quite tall and it was very spacious. Can't wait to try the gun out!

It looks long enough to sleep in! Are you going to D-Day, oddball? bringing the tank up the beach?

To be honest I have given it some thought.
However I am not sure if I am even crazy enough to Tow it a couple of hundred miles in what could be bad weather with a jeep with 1940's bar grip tyres.:x
Yes I think I could sleep in it, and before anyone asks no I haven't tried yet, but now you have mentioned it well I know it would not blow away or fall down in the night. :P

Why dont you mount a simple telescopic sight along side the barrel for aiming?

Love the spade bolted onto the side too :)

I am wondering if I can tow it with my carry van the spec says it's good for 1100 kg and tank and trailer are 800 kg.
If I take turret off and put it in the van it will be about 750 kg a magic number for towing.

I reckon a hetzer will be loads easier and more appropriate to late war germans.

Or anything on a hetzer/ p38(t) chassis as its aboutthe smallest AFV the germans had.

you could do the hetzer on the bike frame idear, and youd only need a small 6-8ft traylor and any tyoe of car would be able to pull that :) as it will be light waight

hetzer was also one of the last AFVS to stay in production by nazi germany, baiscaly the facories in czech were out of range of allied bombers but the stug, panther and tiger factories had been bombed to bits!

You could even make a prototype katzvchen APC which was designed around the hetzer but never saw service.....
