I'm in Nottingham. I'm an occassional airsofter usually but this WWII stuff looks good hence the Sten.
I didn't really make it to sell loads but as half of it is resin it is fairly easy to make more. I have one more to do so two of us have one then I have enough aluminium tube to do two more. The molds will probably only do 10 at best and the tube has to be bought in 2M lengths, enough for 4, so I may see if I can do up to 8 in the end but probably no more. I'll see how long the second one takes now that all the pattern making and molds are done then I can give people an idea of what it costs. It will be more than the Shoot and Scoot, but then the mag is in the right place ![]()
DEFINITELY WANT ONE HOW MUCH FOR THE KIT/PARTS/WHOLE GUN AND ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ..... MONEY WAITING......
I guess Neill is 'interested' in this fine custom made Sten !!
Oh yeah and I'm interested also - damn it looks fine !!
It will be more than the Shoot and Scoot
More than
Would you be prepared to sell just the parts as I don't think I could manage over

no problem with using the chinese MP7 I shouldn't think. The problem with a kiy is that a lot of the work is in setting up and de-molding the resin parts and machining the metal ones. It would still be cheaper though if you wanted to do the assembly, not really got any instructions though...
grate job Hewligan,
very nice,
its just a bugger you beat me to it ![]()

Looks absolutely superb!
Can you tell me where you got the gun metal colour paint please? I tried painting my S&S Sten with various colours and none of them look right!
I used Halfords Rover Gunmetal car paint with a light dusting of brown over the top, put a couple of good layers of laquer over it then used a thin layer of Citadel Chaos Black spray paint over it, after masking off the edges where I wanted there to be chips. When that was dry I used a very fine sanding pad to wear through the black revealing the silver. The edges are highlighted with rubnbuff silver on the resin parts and by sanding through to the metal on the metal parts. the whole lot is then laquered with gloss followed by satin and then weathered with a little oils and powders.
