After it's been sat in the loft for six months, I've finally started work on the 1928. It all goes together but the hop grooves push the barrel out at a very bizarre angle e.g. I could take out passing aircraft with it.

Did anyone else have any luck with their kits and if so, what's the hop solution?

Heh, best of luck! There is a spacer ring inside the outer barrel to body interface - try discarding that.

I'll have a look for the spacer tonight...

The cuts in the body for the hop to slide into do look even so I'm hoping I won't have to dremel these out.

Has anyone managed to get this body to fit and if so, any chance of a few piccies?

I couldn't get the hop tangs to fit in the grooves due to the wacky angle - I ended up snapping them off and allowing the hop to 'free float'. Its not a recommendation but that's what I had to do 'cos nothing fitted!
I suspect armourerdoug had a much more elegant solution but he has engineering skills and facilities I don't.
