Airsoft Armoury are a top seller, have 134a in stock and the BBs are also cheap and good quality http://www.airsoftarmoury.com/
They'll also do next day and actually respond to emails / calls unlike Airsoft Jockland...

Not sure how this will stand up compared to a WA 1911, but my WA blew the front off the slide when I used a more powerful gas that 134a.

Might be an idea to check with Keith at RSOV.

TBH, I've never used it practically. It's there for show/plinking.

western arms guns are notorius for not being able to handle green gas HS. its not a 1911 thing but a WA thing

you wont screaming. WA guns are known to be fragile with green. its something to do with their valve design. most other guns never have a problem with it

which one did you have john?

Seen alot of info over on other forums of WA's that blew their slide from green gast. theres even a company(in the states i think) that sells a mod for the valves so they will take green without breaking

Oh, I know. It was a very cold day so I figured the higher power gas would be ok. It wasn't.

How have you found the Bell has performed?
Does anyone have experience of the WE and Well , Colt 1911's that RSOV offer.

I was thinking of getting a sidearm and I am considering these or the Bell M10.

My WE Colt 1911A1 was utter rubbish through the winter... so much so I was going to chuck it in the bin.

However at the weekend in the warmer weather the performance was much improved... I still didn't use it in anger though... ffs.

The finish on it has worn off now to the stage that it its a pretty ugly looking gun...

My verdict... steer clear of this gun...

i cocktail my gas in the winter,i use a we 1911,no problems, and on warm days green gas.
but for plastic slides i would keep to 134a to be safe, most of us have we or tm and wa.

Other than RSOV is there anywhere else that spare magazines are available, as i am interested in buying one of these, but RSOV have the mags out of stock.

An update... my WE 1911 after being a paperweight all winter was an absolute stunner today...

Found them here too.....

I was wondering though, as the bell is a clone of the TM, will the bell mags fit my TM 1911? Wouldn't mind a few cheap spares.

That is yer only post on the thread, and it doesn't really answer my question! Unless your answer is 'just get a KJW one'. ;)
