In your techy wisdom , if you wanted to chang the gizzards out and fit say a VSR or similar operation action, how doable is this likely to be , or is it more effort than it's worth ?
4 hours on the plastic one & its nearly done, just needs screwing in when I find some screws, I have the action taped in the stock & can actualy fire it, the mag now fits a treat, wood will take longer to work with,

My VSR98K was a conversion of the Marushin gas shell-ejector which is very very similar. As Steve D says, a bit more work and time working with the wood but it is very do-able.

Yep i'd forgoten that rather nice one, now we can merge threads I've merged it into the other K98 Springer sections for future reference / inspiration .
