after sterling service at op huskey , it let me down badly at op lightning 
my d boys wore out at op lightning, due to a worn hop rubber
on full stripping i found out its just a strip of silcone that a grub screw pushes in to the barrel, mine wore out, and the grub screw was acting as a hop, hence my awfull acuracy 
also i saw the real length of the 6mm barrel , take a look, ive used an mp 40 mag for scale
also take a look at full the barrel system
i wa going to chuck the thing in the bin, when i saw my mp 40 spare gearbox , (its waiting to go in the mp41) and i had an idea
with a bit of cutting, it will fit perfectly, a new long barrel and hop , a 350 fps gearbox, a home made 5 round mag (thats tiny in size ) and ill have a dboys aeg
ill do a full tutorial

Hi, for mags, the TM type shotgun shell one might be useful. They are 30 bbs and the size and shape of a standard shotgun shell (12 bore?).
I can lend you one at Glock if it helps?
I also got a DBoys - I have been thinking about getting a new bolt and a drop in mag but it would be a serious amount of work. A new barrel and hop is easy and I will try that as an intermediate job. A standard hop can then be fitted.

a rifled Tanio Koba innerbarrel? I'm not sure if you still need a hop up though.
From memory ( er Kermits advice to me 
) these still need a hop to function well , the rifling is more to do with air seal quality than imparting a spin . It seemed an easy way of getting round the custom hop required for side feeding SMG projects , but apparently not .

im makeing a steel cover for the top , also the k98 magwell IS cut down now to be used as a g41 magazine, its a similar size
ive chopped this bugger to bits
so far ive chopped up and used
an mp40 gearbox , my ak47 barrel and hop unit , and the dboys k98 itself
if it works, (and it all lines up ok) ill do it with a wooden stock one (plastics easier to work with for a prototype)
magazine, will be an concealed INTERNAL 10 round tube mag in the foregrip, (will take about 30 seconds to reload with a speedloader) the Big mag is just for show

Good thinking about loading without the need for mags - in fact, the real G41s could also be loaded from stripper clips like the K98, but with 10 rounds obviously.
