I so wish I had the know how to tamper with things, looking good slick, be interesting to see the final masterpiece, I so want to go and chop up the vsr clone thingy and make something out of it that actually looks better than it is currently

Looking good slick! :D

I suppose I could mod this into one, I was making it as a jeep ornament a few years ago. It’s made of steel and to scale.

Sorry about the racoon skin cap AKA my new cat, they always want to be in the picture.
Cat is Stella not Stalin but close apparently this cat has been chipped so I presume it will be faster than the last one for catching mice.

I test fired it this morning, range is only about 40-50 ft because of the lpeg gearbox, I was hoping the small 7.2v battery would fit right behind the gearbox but its about an inch too long to allow the stock to fit so I`ll mod the battery to fit :)

What are you using for a mag catch/release Slick?

Nothing at the moment, the mag is such a snug fit in the magwell it takes a bit of force to remove it.
As I gutted the grandaughters M4 to make this I`ll pass it on to her when its finished so she probably won`t need one as she only shoots it in the back garden.
I banged the receiver on the workbench a couple of times and the mag didn`t budge so its unlikely it`ll drop out.
Once I make one out of metal I`ll probably copy the real steel mag catch as its super simple :D

Its only 7.2v so is quite slow but sounds similar to a real sten. :)

Heh! Now that's a claim and a half!
