The nicest and most realistic Enfield I have seen! You are certainly a master at custom guns. How did you manage getting the saftey on the correct side? Also how exactly did you build the upper receiver to look like an Enfield? Did you just build the peice out of some sort of sheet metal and drill it to the side of the reciever? Again amazing job!

Thank you! :) Safety turns but dasn`t work, I removed safety at all. And yes you are right about receiver but I removed some metal from its sides before.

Ah very good idea! I will have to borrow it if I ever build one myself. Is this Enfield for your own use or for someone else?

Yes please :)

No, I made them for our frendly reenactors from Moscow. Stock joining is changed also because I was not able to find casting workshop at this time.

May be it will help to someone, I have made a little improvement in this Enfield. Welder made another connection ring for me (according to wax model) and I drilled a hole through the ring from top all the way down and made a thread in it.

Then connected receiver and ring with bolt.

And now receiver and ring are durable like one piece part and wood can be connected like on original Enfield.

And finaly assembled
