So I've done some weathering job to my WWII collections. I sand off the original factory paints which seemed very plastic, and now i am having trouble finding a paint that will give guns a real steel greyish back feeling (gun bluing).
Any suggested paint that will do that work?

Get some acrylic metalic grey spray paint from your car store, they will have various shades depending how dark you want to go, when applied & dry you can dry brush sliver over the parts to give a worn look, for durability you could laquer it to, you can get matt, satin & gloss laqurers, this one is a very dark grey,
