Eh? I thought it was $560.

You can always attached the furniture to another conversion...or sell it!

I've very kindly had someone offer to build the springfield for me. I just had to supply the stock and the VSR. Which i'm doing, as soon as the new stock arrives, from Holland this week.

Its about £700-750 when you add up all the upgrades i bought for it. The correct original scope, and an original sling for it. The scope alone was £200.

Now that the college year is a week from being over I can post an apology here on this forum. Though it should have been done sooner.

I wish to make an apology to the members of this forum who purchased from me as well as everyone else who has read this thread or posted in it.

I also will not make any excuses for not having shipped the rifles sooner. Ultimatly regardless of what happened it is my duty to forill my promise. Unforseen circumstances as well as a lack of self discipline played heavly into the completion time for each gun. As for a lack of communications to my customers I take full responsibility for that as well.

I truely have good intentions, it is just that life became overwhelming after I switched majors, moved out to my college campus full time and my parents filed for divorce. I let the situation spin out of control when it could have been easliy fixed by simple communication with each customer.

Becuase of this situation I have re-designed how I do buissness entirely. All guns are now pre-built and can be shipped the same day and order is placed. If I dont have it in stock then Im not selling it. I also will have a dedicated person to monitor e-mails so responses to them can be sent out very quickly.

Again I am very sorry for all of this.

Big-uk. I hope Visa refunded you your money, at least I think they did as I have to pay them the ammount you paid lol

Mikowolf. Your gun is having new internals put into it, she will be ready to ship the week I head back home after finals are finished.

Jeremiah

As the CiA forum admin, and on behalf of this forum's users, I'm going to thank you for your frank post and apology.

It isn't that unusual for small ventures to go awry as life throws up challenges - the WW2 forums are littered with them, sad to say.
As someone who looks to the future not the past (ironic for a WW2 forum  ) I'll just wish you all the best moving forward and draw a line in the sand here.

Now, unless there are future problems I'll just ask that CiA forum users not to post further on this thread, as it doesn't help, and let bygones be bygones.

Thank you Chomley-Warner and Mikowolf for your responses. This past year has been one heck of a ride and I would be a fool not to learn from this experiance. Mikowolf you gun will ship between the 10th and 17th when Im home from school.

Like I said anything I sell is now all pre-built and will be boxed up the very next buissness day and shipped to the buyer. Each package is insured up the the full ammount paid, tracking information placed on it, and sign upon delivery as well.

Only a few rifles will be made this year. I will be building a total of 20 guns this summer, 10 Lee-Enfield No.4 MKI rifles will be built, and 10 Springfield rifles will be built. I have already had a person express interest in a Delisle carbine and I may make two of them as well.

The Enfields will now feature original wood front ends and hand guards as well as some original harware as well.

Again I cant express how sorry I am for everything. Now I also need to make an appology on the US WW2AA forum but is seems my account has been dissabled. Im not surprised it has been, I would have done the same thing.

I will do my best to get it out early in the week then.

Here is a picture from one guy who bought an M1903A4 from me. He put a scope on it as well as a leather sling.

Hi

Got the ordered springfield on thursday this week. (had to go trough customs, poland is a shitty country for that)
And i think ive fallen in love with it. The wood is extremely nicely done, and jeremiah did a great work on it, as is the rest of the rifle.
Just bumped into one problem that im trying to solve with jeremiah atm, bu me or neither him cant find out completely why its happening.
the rifle is extremely easy to disassemble so there is no problem in fixing it, which i did, but after 10 shots the piston is jumping again.
Im going to check it out more with some friends to find out why..

but overall im verry happy to have it and it is realy wicked :)

ill post pics when i eventualy get it fixed, and when im dressed up :)

MikoWolf

What do you mean by jumping? The sear isn't holding the piston back? Could be how the trigger unit is set-up, i run the trigger on my VSR extremely light, and from time to time the sear wont always catch.

There are two screws(require an allen key), on the front and back of the trigger unit, one is pull length, and one is pull weight. Probably worth adjusting them both so you've got a heavier slightly longer trigger pull.

Hi I am a new member of cia. As regards MGW and mr Jermiah Mauros let me tell my story.

One year ago I paid 1600 dollars for 3 rifles. Despite numerous e mails and contact from my sister, who lives in USA, no reply from MGW. Just before last xmas pictures of 3 guns and assurance of delivery in Jan. No contact since. Now Mr Mauros on his site claims he will supply guns already made to order. My question - where are my guns when Mr Mauros gives guarantees on CIA site for his existing and new customers. This is fiction. I hope Jermiah reads this perhaps he will be good enough to refund my money and desist from conning decent airsoft users. Personal I fully intend to pursue MGW using every legal avenue in USA to ensure this kind of business is terminated as soon as possible. Fellow airsoft users beware of this company save your money and spend it with legitimate airsoft gun makers. All claims made in this message can be proven with copy emails and registered postal communication to MGW. Best wishes to all fellow users of this site. Denis J Nolan

I've already been in correspondence with Denis and his sister, approved posting here and given MGW contact info and recommended recovering payment from the credit card company.
