With something like that on the battlefield I think I would have to defect to the axis

You'd actually want to be on the firiing end?!?!?

take it out with lancasters and B17's,

Why would you be taking out a British gun with Allied Aircraft? Surely you wouldn't want to be trying to remove a valuable asset to your own side?

Um , we'd rather you not bring it to a CiA event, other than for people to go "wow" at in the carpark . It's completely anachronistic , and you'd get through your 1200 round limit in ...well about 24 seconds

That said, I've never met someone with one, is it as fun as people say ?

Having been on the receiving end of one i'll say this. You get F****D at close range, but once you work out it doesn't have Hop-up, and therefore has a pitiful range when compared to an AEG or rifle with Hop-up at the same FPS level, you just hang back and pop them off before it gets close enough to hit you :D

Ah, happy memories of Fort Amhurst there :)

What was that kermit? A $14000 Custom gun can be taken down by a novice player using a Hired FA MAS. That is classic.

Shit, didn't even need a FAMAS, TM SOCOM did the job quite nicely.

The P3 Minigun is an awesome bit of kit, don't get me wrong, but at the FPS limits we play at in the UK, the lack of Hop-up on it really is a handicap.

makes sense really. no hopup. some of em run on gas. heavy as hell. hard to move and shoot and change your field of fire.

a player with a AEP could take you down if he had his hop set right heh

lol that too

they may do better mounted as some kind of an emplacement or vehicle gun perhaps. But as a support gun you'll have more luck throwing teabags methinks

Ha Ha, silly peeps with too much cash can get wasted by a first timer with a pistol, im loving it.

But I think that this means that this particular behemoth has been spoken of in every airsoft forum in the uk. Its just a shame the wolf and rebel troop miniguns have been discontinued,

I thought this may spark off a healthy debate:)

I do not use it that much, i was luky enough to get it cheep and when the naff monkey metal in the piston gave up the ghost i had propper metal fittings mad and it now runs sweeeeet. I did have a custom made 26000 round mag made that gave me about 3 mins non stop fire but the cost was tooooo great.

Yeah...lol.........Right. ;)

Not only the cost but having to strip it down each mag load to clean all the dust out of it as the bb's rub together in the feeder so they may be 6mm going in but 4mm outbound........zoiks!
