Does your 1928 tommy work with the drum mag?
It was a topic of conversation at The Hill on the weekend, since most of us allies were carrying bog standard TM tommys. :D

It works with the drum mag I created last week.

Its a conversion of a plastic CYMA drum mag with the internals from a TM 190 rnd hicap in it. The mag pushes in from the bottom rather than the side like a real one.

I tried inserting a real steel one on a trade stand at Beltring. The grooves used to slide it in are in the right place, but don't go all the way through.

i'm partway through doing a guide on how to make these. i'll put it up when it's finished.

I must admit it looks a mighty sexy bit of kit with the top bolt and round mag .

The base gun is a TM Thompson M1A1.

It has a M1928 real wood kit made by CAW.*
It has replacement M1928 barrel and upper receiver from Mosquito Moulds.*

The vertical foregrip is a real one.

The drum mag as mentioned above is from a CYMA springer with TM 190rnd hicap mag internals... conversion done by me.

(*Good luck finding either of these for sale now.)
