Thats exactly the same as me... so yes... it'll fit, but will look tight and feel tight. My recommendation is to get a SOF repro when after a while...

Use Nitromors and a wire brush attached to an electric drill... then apply a coat of primer and whatever you want after that. I used Humbrol Enamel...
