Can't believe it's finally the day. Stof's picking me up at 1 - need to pack my cool bag still. Once I've got my gear on, the exciteometer will go above 9.

Kit's all packed and in the car. Gone through the gameplan about 100 times and just waiting for my Bro to arrive before setting out for the site to get it ready for everyones' arrival. Bubbling away at a steady 8 now.

The promised tunic hasn't arrived grrrrrrrrr so stuck with being a displaced Panzer Gren driver ! Aside from that my spare bed is currently my kit assembly point. Just chrono'd my MP40 - running at a consistent 352fps d'oh!!!!!! So much for it dropping when the spring beds in - 5mm off the spring should do the job - another strip down this afternoon I think!

Up to a 9 now, just got to get some black bread from Tesco!

Working this afternoon, 6am start for me tomorrow - after that I'll be a 10!

Cheers Poacher, I'm a biggish guy so 46" chest. Would be happy to borrow a Heer tunic if you have one ;no worries if not though. (I ordered a badged up M43 tunic for this game in early December) what I have is feldgrau M40 special uniform and looks ok, I don't need to resort to camo, just a bit out of place for this game I guess . . .

ive got to set off in 6 hours time, ive just got back from mother in laws, STILL NOT PACKED , aaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhhh fooking hell

I am getting pissed on vodka, not sure what to wear as the quilted thermal jackets are very warm, weapon will be a thompson & a sten as a reserve, headgear prob a helmet but not sure yet,
