Will Craig
Dutch Resistance
Was thinking something along the lines of chemist or farmer.
using a VSR10 with iron sights.
Any ideas on how i can improve character?
This is the first time i've touched historical re-enactment.
Will
Well I suggest you watch some allo allo ... heh seriously.
Trousers (no jeans!), braces, plain coloured shirt (no tie?), Wooly jumper or cardigan, non-flashy waistcoat, hat (trilby or flat?), 40s style jacket if you're posh.
Watch some war films... I suggest A Bridge Too Far, Band of Brothers, etc...
If your a chemist then white coat may be good... wellies for a farmer?
Take a look at these for idea... miscellaneous movies some are of the dutch resistance recreated by a dutch re-enactment group
Thankyou.
I think chemist may be in order.

Found some more pics for ideas...

Wonderful, top work...
Ben just put a thread up with suggestions on period civvie kit in the Kit forum... go take a look.
Someone on the dutch resitance has to be a bit of a banker (note i said BANKER ) btw it would help with scenarios and plot.

Hi Yith, I persuaded my mate to come along! He's a long time airsofter, and has always wanted to do WWII. He hasn't got any gear yet, but will be German (probably Heer), and he has a KAR sniper rifle. Name is Lee Perkins.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
oh sorry German but we have to modify his flecktarn kit.
cheers
Colin Chapman (TBC)
What nationality? ta!
Notice how the Germans are paying up, but the stingy Brits aren't?!!

I fancy a go at this, though I cant guarantee I'll be about on the day. I work away a lot. Can I put my name down and pay the deposit though I'll be unable to confirm until later. I have Brit and german kit though only a Thompson so far[working on ordering the AGM MP40].

No problem booking in and paying a deposit, although it is non refundable unless the event is cancelled. Thompson will be good for either side

Oh and thought it was worth digging this one out :
No longer involved in airsoft.
No russians this time i'm afraid
You're going to have to opt for dutch resistance or borrow some Brit or german kit.
