Will Craig
Dutch Resistance
Was thinking something along the lines of chemist or farmer.

using a VSR10 with iron sights.

Any ideas on how i can improve character?

This is the first time i've touched historical re-enactment.

Well I suggest you watch some allo allo ;) ... heh seriously.

Trousers (no jeans!), braces, plain coloured shirt (no tie?), Wooly jumper or cardigan, non-flashy waistcoat, hat (trilby or flat?), 40s style jacket if you're posh.

Watch some war films... I suggest A Bridge Too Far, Band of Brothers, etc...

If your a chemist then white coat may be good... wellies for a farmer?

Take a look at these for idea... miscellaneous movies some are of the dutch resistance recreated by a dutch re-enactment group

Someone on the dutch resitance has to be a bit of a banker (note i said BANKER ) btw it would help with scenarios and plot.

Hi Yith, I persuaded my mate to come along! He's a long time airsofter, and has always wanted to do WWII. He hasn't got any gear yet, but will be German (probably Heer), and he has a KAR sniper rifle. Name is Lee Perkins.

I fancy a go at this, though I cant guarantee I'll be about on the day. I work away a lot. Can I put my name down and pay the deposit though I'll be unable to confirm until later. I have Brit and german kit though only a Thompson so far[working on ordering the AGM MP40].

No problem booking in and paying a deposit, although it is non refundable unless the event is cancelled. Thompson will be good for either side

No russians this time i'm afraid :(
You're going to have to opt for dutch resistance or borrow some Brit or german kit.
